We are very excited to announce the creation of the new official WhatsApp channel of CEU Rugby Barcelona, a tool that we have wanted to activate for a long time to improve communication with the entire club family.
First of all, we would like to apologize for not having created it sooner. Until now, we have been sharing information through different WhatsApp groups, sending the same message several times and, sometimes, making ourselves a bit heavy. With this new channel, this will change.
A single channel, with all the information and no spam
The channel will be completely anonymous (no one will see who else is part of it). It will be open to players, family members and fans of the Club. Only the Club will be able to publish content on it. Channel members will only be able to react to the content, but not send messages.
This will allow us to send clear, direct and orderly information, without saturating anyone, or any of the other channels and maintaining a clean and easy-to-follow space.
A new official CEU channel
From now on, this will be the only official communication channel for CEU Rugby Barcelona, where we will share:
- The match schedule
- Results
- Highlights from the club’s day-to-day activities.
The rest of the WhatsApp groups will remain for their initial functions of organizing each section and of a social nature.
Complement, not substitute
This new channel does not replace those we already use regularly (web, Instagram, X, Facebook and LinkedIn).
WhatsApp is a tool designed for immediate communication, and we want to use it exactly in this sense. That is, small important information of the moment, quick updates and useful notices.
