How did you start playing rugby? How did you come to CEU?
My sister (Sara) played on another team, and when she wanted to come to CEU, she encouraged me to join too. I met the team at the Ampuria Brava beach rugby tournament, and the great atmosphere there encouraged me to play.
What positions have you played, and which is your favorite?
I’m a wing (11 or 14) as a starter, but I also played a season at center. I’d like to play center. I’ve already tried it, and I enjoy making plays, passing, and the attack in general from the center position; it’s quite a challenge.
How would you explain to someone who doesn’t know CEU, and in particular the senior women’s team, what makes it special?
I came from playing individual sports, where even people from your own club are your rivals in competition. Starting a sport like rugby, where teamwork is essential, creates strong bonds. And at CEU it was no different. The girls on the team are fantastic, we support each other, and we don’t forget the most important thing: having fun. This sport is so intense… it just wouldn’t be the same without good company.
We have captains who are very involved with the team and make it run smoothly, as well as coaches who put in countless hours to ensure we do a good job on the field.
What are your hobbies outside of rugby?
I have tons of hobbies outside of rugby, but I can highlight three: sewing and crocheting, reading, and making videos for social media.
