Name: Natàlia Marta Gallart Moncusí (Colometa)

Link with the Club: Ex-Player and trying to play again in the veterans team

When did you start playing rugby and why?

Magda Moner (Sitari) signed me up on the bus to university. She and Txell Basté (Bonanova) -DEP- were creating a rugby team in the Faculty of Physics to play in the university league.

It was starting to play and knowing that this was the sport I had always wanted to do.

What position did you play the most?

I played in the front line, in all three positions, and especially as a heel.

How did you end up at CEU?

Rugby couldn’t end at university. After a year of playing in the UB league (7 with a tackle) and especially in the Spanish University Championships, where I played for the first time at 15, I had to take a step further. I signed for Bonanova along with other teammates from the faculty.

Have you ever collaborated with the Club in any capacity or volunteering?

I don’t think so

What is your current connection with the Club?

You’ll see me on the field one day at the veterans’ training sessions

As a veteran, how do you experience rugby?

Rugby is more than just any sport, it’s experienced in a different way. You can stop playing but you never leave the rugby family.

You currently collaborate with the Club financially by becoming a patron member, what reasons would you give to other members to encourage them to collaborate as members?

It doesn’t cost anything and it’s a small-big help.

Help us continue to grow on and off the field.
