CEU Rugbi Barcelona and FC Barcelona have reached an agreement to merge their senior women’s squads for at least the next two seasons. This strategic alliance will allow the joint project to field two competitive teams: a first team playing in the Catalan Division of Honor (DHC) and a second team competing in either the First or Second Catalan Division, depending on the playoffs.
For our club, this collaboration is excellent news. The agreement ensures continuity and offers greater sporting prospects for both our current players and young athletes joining in the future. Furthermore, leveraging Barça’s experience and competitive caliber will serve as a crucial stepping stone for the team’s growth and consolidation.
