We are pleased to announce that our UB Sports facilities, the legendary “Sitari” field, have been chosen by the Catalan Rugby Federation (FCR) to host the VII Catalan Rugby Night, which will take place next Friday, May 29.

For us, welcoming the great family of Catalan rugby to our home is a great excitement. We understand it not only as the celebration of a landmark sporting event, but also as an explicit recognition of the trajectory of a historic Club like ours.
This celebration comes at a critical time. As many of you know, our club and the “Sitari” are under threat of the disappearance of the last natural grass rugby pitch in Barcelona. The loss of this facility is not only a blow to us, but it puts this sport in mortal danger in the city.
Hosting Rugby Night is the perfect opportunity to remember that rugby in Barcelona needs spaces to grow, not to die.
And as if that weren’t enough, the celebration will continue the next day. On Saturday, May 30, 2026, we will celebrate Club Day, as always, at the Sitari. It will be our big end-of-season party, a day for all categories, families, veterans and friends. We want it to be a massive gathering where everyone is welcome to celebrate with us the pride of being part of this entity.
