After five extraordinary seasons at the helm of the Senior Men’s team, Mario Sanz is closing a great period on the bench of the CEU men’s first team.
He is the coach of the historic promotion and the subsequent season in the Honor Division B (23/24). His work, commitment and leadership have left a mark on the Club.
But Mario is not leaving us. We are very happy to announce that he will join the Academy structure next season as head of technical development. The Club is very hopeful that with his signing and the expansion of the Technical Management, our Academy can continue to take steps forward.
With this move, the Club makes a qualitative leap in the training area. From this new position, Mario will be responsible for promoting the growth of our younger players, transmitting to them all his experience, passion and demands.
