For many years, Club Esportiu Universitari (CEU) and C.E. Les Panteres Grogues have shared not only our home—the Sitari pitch—but also a shared philosophy regarding rugby, camaraderie, and respect. Consequently, faced with the challenges of this season, the decision was clear: to help one another as friendly clubs and grow together.
We are thrilled to officially announce the formation of a Temporary Club Union (UTC) between our two organizations for the first half of the 2026/2027 season.
A season full of major sporting challenges
This alliance comes at a time of high demands and sporting ambition for both organizations:
- CEU Senior Men’s A: Facing the season’s biggest challenge with their sights set on the highest level of competition, striving to bring the Catalan Division of Honor (DHC) trophy back to the Sitari trophy cabinet.
- CEU Senior Men’s B: Embarking on an exciting campaign, competing and establishing themselves in the *Segona Catalana* (Second Catalan Division).
- Panteres Grogues: Competing at the highest level by playing in the *3a i 4a Catalana* (Third and Fourth Catalan Divisions) playoffs.
Joining forces to build more competitive squads
The creation of this UTC stems from a genuine desire to help one another, allowing us to share players and add greater solidity and depth to our squads. At the same time, this synergy offers our youth squads a much broader and more tailored range of competitive levels, where every player can find their ideal environment to develop, gain playing time, and enjoy rugby.
With this agreement, we strengthen community ties and demonstrate that cooperation and camaraderie between teams sharing facilities is the best path to success.
This season, Sitari is more united than ever!
